We have outlined some eligibility requirements, classification of different membership levels, and if you want, there's even a place to fill out a form to sign up with us if your interested.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Any person with a sincere interest in Amateur Radio may become a member of the Independence FM Amateur Radio Club.
• New members, who choose to join before or after the renewal anniversary date of June 20th, will have their dues pro-rated for their first year.
• Members renewing their club membership at any time during the year must pay the yearly $20.00 membership fee.  Multi-year memberships are available upon request.

MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATIONS

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

• A Regular Member is a licensed Amateur Radio Operator that is a dues-paid member in good standing.

• Regular Members are entitled to full voting privileges, receipt of the club newsletter (if one is published), and other publications.

• Regular Members are entitled to all club activities, use of the IFMARC's equipment, and access to the repeater user codes.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

• An Associate Member is a person with a sincere interest in Amateur Radio.

• Associate Members are entitled to full voting privileges, receipt of the club newsletter (if one is published) and other publications, and participation in all club activities.

• Associate Members may not operate a club radio or use the club repeater unless a licensed Amateur Radio Operator is present at the point of communication and is serving as a Control Operator at all times.

• Associate Membership are required to pay yearly membership dues of $5.00.  The renewal anniversary date and pro-rated rules still apply.

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP

• A Family Member is a licensed Amateur Radio Operator or a person with a sincere interest in Amateur Radio that resides in the same household as a Regular Member and is a spouse of child of that member.

• Family Members are entitled to participate in all club activities, use of the IFMARC's equipment (if he/she is a licensed Amateur Radio Operator), and access to the repeater user codes (if he/she is a licensed Amateur Radio Operator).

• If a Family Member would like full voting privileges they must pay an additional yearly fee of $10.00 per household and it is not to be pro-rated.

• A Family Membership is only valid with the paid dues of a Regular Member.
